It is geographically divided into two areas, a large area in the north and a relatively smaller part of the peninsula south. The country is bounded on the west by Burma, Laos to the north and east, Cambodia to the southeast and the Gulf of Thailand in the South.

People in Thailand; several stories revolve around the origin of the Thai people. There was also a hint of Indian influence. With the mixture of many different cultures, developing a culture that is unique in Thailand even vaguely reminiscent of a different culture.

Religion in Thailand; Buddhism is the basis of religion and spirituality in Thailand. The country is dotted with numerous Buddhist temples.

Culture and Arts of Thailand; As appreciation for the art of Thailand, one must look at the beautifully carved statues of Buddha in the temple. Temples also reflect the typical Thai style, as seen in various church-structured compounds. Temple and idols are decorated with gilded ornaments and built-in glass mosaics, gold leaf, pearl, and so on.

raditional Thai music bears much resemblance to Laos, Cambodia and musical forms. Phi Phat, and Sai Kruang Mahori are the main types of orchestral, who played in theaters, festivals and community solo singers.

Given the recent history of Cambodia, you might wonder why I refer to it as the happiest place on earth. Well, there is the real reason, if you know what happy means in Cambodian slang. Cambodia is in Southeast Asia. It is bordered to the west of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in the northeast.

Reign of Terror is a phrase often used, but not when it comes to the Khmer Rouge. The group performs what can only be called bizarre policies and was able to starve and murder of about twenty percent of the total population of Cambodia. Reign of terror was finally ended when Vietnam invaded and pushed the Khmer in small, isolated country in the far north.

Thailand is a very touristy, so I went to the wilderness Cambodia.
When you walk through the capital Phnom Penh, it seems as if nothing had happened. Signs literally say “Happy Dinner”, “happy pizza” and so on. Gosh, these people are happy. As you might think, fortunately has a special connotation in Cambodia. Used as a spice, namely, it is clear that in the food sector.

At the end of the day, I found a great place to Cambodia to enjoy, regardless of his past and a Happy Meal. So go ahead and take off to Cambodia, but try to remember as a happy meal!

Are you planning on backpacking in Southeast Asia and have a limited budget. Civil Discount: One of the most unknown thing in Southeast Asia, is how cheap air travel can be. Sometimes slightly higher than the cost of the bus. Both Air Asia and Bangkok Airways offers cheap flights across most of Southeast Asia. Rates are regularly $ 35USD or less.

If you have a limited travel time, it is recommended that the investigating judge that fly between destinations. Not paying in U.S. currency: One of the biggest mistakes that passengers often have to do is try to pay in U.S. dollars. Almost everywhere in Southeast Asia, accepts the U.S. dollar, but the exchange rate offered by traders is terrible. Many times, you end up paying 30% more than you would if you use the local currency. You can also exchange money at most major banks in Southeast Asia.

Beware of scams: If it sounds too good to be true, probably cheated. When booking travel or transportation, try to book only from reputable companies, so you the way you actually pay. If you take a taxi in some countries may request that the meter is running. Most drivers negotiate the fare, and in most cases are so higher than that of one meter. This saves a lot of money.

3) Full Moon Party, Koh Pan Gan, Thailand, the legendary Full Moon Party has for several years, starting with only a few people today with at least 10,000 people per month.

4) The motorcycle tour to Vietnam, he rides his own bike (or if not you can hire a chauffeur), Vietnam will be around towns and cities where no tourists go is one of the highlights of this trip.

5) Palawan, Philippines, this island in the southwest of the Philippines is a hidden gem of Southeast Asia. In any place you find more than 50 backpackers on the island, and it’s big island. Picture a cross between the islands around Krabi, Thailand, and throw in the Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, and this makes the coastal town of El Nido. There is some of the best diving and snorkeling to be done in many coral reefs, many white sandy beaches and swimming in the tank with small sharks, or just relax and enjoy the Sun Island is also one of the longest underground rivers in the world.

6) Ha Long Bay, Bay has almost 2,000 limestone islands, caves to explore and several lagoons go kayaking in.

7) Vang Vieng, Laos This is a great party town. You get a tractor and soul floats the river and stop at bars along the route and get free shots of Lao Lao whiskey and then drink more whiskey buckets lao lao and coke eighteen hours later, when you think you have enough you can go to the island , which is just bars (smile is the best) to middnight curfew kicks in. The first bar is the largest independently of the other bars on the right.
